Who I am:

I’m an entrepreneur and systematic portfolio manager. I’ve sat in the PM seat at pod shops and managed real money at scale and seen how the sausage gets made - the politics, the risk allocation games, the strategies that look great until you have to explain a drawdown to someone who controls your capital.

Most quant content comes from academics or bench warmers who have never managed risk or tell you anything useful. I write from inside the machine, I write as someone who has BUILT the machine.
